Fractions and whole numbers

What I learned in Math today is how to Multiply a fraction by a whole number.

The steps I used to solve these equations were:

1. I started with the denominator and then divided by the whole number to get part of the answer

2. multiply the answer above by the numerator to get my final answer.

Here is an example: 1/3 x 18=6

  1. Hey Eliab - this is so cool to see you blogging especially about your learning in class. Thank you for the image of what you are learning in your maths text book although it is a bit hard to see, would you consider making a video where you can actually show n tell how to solve multiplying a fraction by a whole number. Keep up the great work you are doing in Maths and I am super proud of your determination to keep going in Maths.
